‘Should I get a manual cover or an electric one?’

A common question we get asked from customers is whether to choose an electric or manual cover. The answer to that is dependent on what you generally use your Ute for. If you are mostly an ‘everyday driver’, and like a more convenient option, then you might want to look at an electric cover. But, if you use your Ute for a trade or camping, with lots of opening and closing in more tough conditions, then a manual cover may work well for you. Can I do a self Install or does it need a professional install?

The short answer is yes, you can install the roller shutter yourself. That’s if you're handy with tools and have a friend that can help lift it onto the tub. It's about a 5/10 difficulty, with most trades people easily able to work it out.
